About the Class
"Understand Startup Finance" is the sixth class of Startup Virginia's Entrepreneur Certificate Course, which is designed to help you start a business or grow your startup.
In this class, you will dive into the importance of your numbers and learn financial concepts needed for a business or startup.

Meet the Instructor
Eric Glymph, Founder, EDGe Business Planning
Eric is the founder of EDGe Business Planning and a seasoned financial leader with over 20 years of experience in large, medium, and startup organizations focused on improving the profitability of the organization. He has extensive experience with business planning, strategy, financial analysis, and budgeting throughout his 20-year career. Eric has a B.S. in Accounting from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!) and an MBA from Indiana University (Go Hoosiers!). He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a certified Quickbooks Pro Advisor.
Eric is also an accomplished triathlete having competed in 80 triathlons including three Ironman distance triathlons. Eric lives in Richmond, Virginia and has been married to his wife Susan for almost 30 years. They have two wonderful children.
